HT8693 is an audio power amplifier with two operating modes: Class D and Class AB. In Class D mode, under VDD=8.5V, THD+N=10%, and 4Ω load, it can continuously output 10W power; in Class AB mode, under VDD=8.5V, THD+N=10%, and 4Ω load, Can continuously output 9W power.
The HT8693 has an anti-clipping distortion (ACF) output control function in Class D operating mode, which can detect and suppress output signal clipping distortion (broken sound) caused by excessive amplitude of input music and voice signals, significantly improving sound quality. Create comfortable listening enjoyment and protect speakers from overload damage. At the same time, the chip also has ACF-Off mode configurability.
The HT8693 can realize the free switching function between Class AB and Class D. When troubled by EMI interference from Class D power amplifiers, it can switch to Class AB audio power amplifier mode at any time.
The built-in shutdown function of HT8693 minimizes the standby current, and also integrates output over-current protection, on-chip over-temperature protection and power supply under-voltage abnormality protection.
